Food Bank

From Community Connections:
🙏 We need your help!

Our shelves at the food bank are bare, and we’re struggling to provide for those who rely on us during tough times. 😔 As you know, every contribution, big or small, makes a world of difference.

Here’s how you can support:

🛒 Donations: Drop off non-perishable items in our wooden bin outside the food bank or at the metal bin located at Save-On. We’re specifically in need of items like pasta, pasta sauce, KD, canned soups, canned beans, and canned tomatoes – essentials that help families make meals.

Your generosity is deeply appreciated! Thank you for being the heart of our community! ❤️

Volunteers Needed

Do you want to help people affected by fire, flood, or other emergencies? 🔥🌊

Do you know Revelstoke has an Emergency Support Services (ESS) program for disaster relief?

Join Revelstoke’s ESS VOLUNTEER TEAM!

ESS is a program that provides short-term disaster relief across British Columbia in the event of fires, floods, earthquakes or other emergencies.

ESS depends on community volunteers to plan and provide for the essential needs of individuals, families and response workers. The task of planning for and responding to disasters requires the commitment and dedication of many trained volunteers.

Revelstoke ESS is always looking for volunteers for the program with the following traits:

· Want to help people affected by disaster

· Have good communication skills

· Adaptable and work well as part of a team

· Able to respond on short notice

Online ESS courses are necessary to become a volunteer and are provided FREE of charge.

Meetings are once per month.
