  2 hr\nPublic: Anyone on or off Facebook\nPractice using transceivers\, wo
 rk on shoveling technique and learn about the tools required for companion
  rescue to refresh your skills. This will be a volunteer-led opportunity t
 o practice different scenarios and as it will be dark it will add an eleme
 nt of difficulty. Meet at the Inukshuk at Centennial Park.\nThere will als
 o be some free survival tool goodies from BC AdventureSmart up for grabs\n
 Required gear: Headlamp and appropriate clothing for spending 2 hours outd
 oors. Bring your own transceiver\, shovel and probe if they have it. Other
 wise practice equipment will be available.\nCost: Free! Drop-ins welcome.
