DESCRIPTION:Mountain Pride - a safe\, family-friendly event for queer commu
 nity and allies. Including a day of multi-sport activities with a free com
 munity party in collaboration with Queer Shred Revelstoke to celebrate PRI
 DE in Revelstoke and the surrounding mountains.\n\nThis day is about creat
 ing safer spaces to support\, celebrate\, and create awareness for our 2SL
 GBTQIA+ community !\nMOUNTAIN ACADEMY - 8am - 2:30pm\nA one-day choose you
 r own adventure event to celebrate queer community in Revelstoke! \nThe p
 rogram is open to 2SLGBTQ+ folks and allies from age 15 years+. Priority w
 ill be given to folks with intersectional identities.\nAll sports will be
  offered at introductory level\, with a possibility for intermediate group
 s based on participant abilities. Guiding and instruction will be provided
  by certified ACMG guides and instructors.\nActivities detailed below. No 
 previous experience in the activity is required. \nEvery activity will be 
 “challenge by choice”\, accessible to most bodies and paced by the par
 ticipant's needs. Equipment can be provided from the Open Mountains gear l
 ocker and local partners if requested.\nCost per activity will be $40 per 
 person\, gear (at no charge) and financial subsidizes are available for pa
