 ing a conference on responsible recreation right here in Revelstoke on May
  9-10. With our community full of avid recreationalists\, I know this even
 t will be of interest to many of you.\n\nWith an increasing number of peop
 le pursuing outdoor activities\, there is growing recognition of the limit
 ed information\, tools\, and resources for managing and monitoring the imp
 acts of these pressures. This conference will be an excellent opportunity 
 for managers\, business operators\, recreation groups\, and the interested
  public to share lessons learned that can inform our collective work to re
