  Visual Arts Center for our Slip Cast workshop with Stephanie Curran. This
  workshop is open to anyone regardless of skill level\, and is perfect for
  those wanting to explore alternative ceramic techniques.\nSlip casting is
  a fascinating process that involves filling moulds with liquid clay\, als
 o known as slip. It’s commonly used for production pottery or replicatin
 g intricate pieces. However\, don’t be fooled into thinking it’s only 
 for experienced potters or sculptors. Slip casting is a fantastic opportun
 ity for novice potters to further explore the properties of clay and expan
 d on their ceramic skills.\n\nDuring the workshop\, you’ll learn the int
 ricacies of the process and gain hands-on experience using original mug mo
 ulds from the 70’s and 80’s. All participants will go home with a fini
 shed mug! Whether you’re a beginner or have previous ceramic experience\
 , this workshop will provide you with new knowledge and techniques to enha
